36 Hour working week.

Salary: Up to GBP62,000 PA DOE

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager Manager in the Programmes department for a world leading company.

The position is responsible for managing several projects, by providing the technical point of contact with the customer and coordinating MBA's internal resources to deliver customer requirements.

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITY:

• Manage and oversee of several programmes and smaller projects, including:
  • Identify requirements for company resources.
  • Forecasting and assist in prioritising deliveries for seat production.
  • Proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Support MBA global business - production, development opportunities and exhibitions
  • Offer technical guidance and oversight to other disciplines within the project, including customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate meetings and reviews, at MBA and off-site locations
  • Ensure product and programme adherence to legal and contractual obligations.
• Provide and maintain the customer interface throughout the formal data transfer process (preliminary and standard data reviews) and/or informal data reviews, whilst incorporating a focus on internal customer/supplier relationships.
• Hardware and assets - definition and management of programme hardware and assets and associated cost. Control of customer furnished equipment.
• Manage internal and external relationships to ensure project deliverables are achieved ie, project planning and control, (capture, collect and track costs, raise invoice instructions etc.)
• Be the primary point of contact and liaison with the customer throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare/create the technical proposal definition, including necessary documents such as SOW. Generation of all labour hours, hardware requirements and project cost data.

Project Manager Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent

• Member of the Institute of Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineers, APM or similar would be beneficial.
