We are looking for a talented Engineering Purchasing Officer / Storesperson to work for our client

The standard hours for the Engineering Purchasing Officer / Storesperson role are 40 Hours per week, 08.30-17.00
The Package:
Salary £32000-£36000 Per annum
- 20 Days holidays plus bank holidays.
- One extra day after three years, increasing by one day a year
The Role:
As the Engineering Purchasing Officer / Storesperson you will be tasked with:
- Support role for engineering workshop.
- Managing consignment stock of AC motors / bearings / fixings.
- Managing good stock levels of engineering consumables in stores.
- Obtaining prices from suppliers for mechanical/electrical spares and replacements.
- Placing orders for all workshop requirements.
- Managing delivery expectations for all items ordered.
- Managing 24-hour emergency requirements.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Engineering Purchasing Officer / Storesperson role will require a minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering environment.
You will also need for the Engineering Purchasing Officer / Storesperson role:
- Good understanding of the industry.
- Ideally, experience in a stores/purchasing role within the industry
