At our site in Berwick Upon Tweed we have an exciting opportunity for Engineering Shift Leaders, who will be responsible for the leading, prioritisation and allocation of shift reactive engineering tasks and ensuring that planned tasks are carried out to the correct standards.
Job Title: Engineering Shift Leader
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, rotating day shift and night shift
Working Hours: 6.30 – 18.30/ 18.30 – 6.30
Is this role for you?
In this hands-on role you will be carrying out preventative and reactive work, attend breakdowns, repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvement and modification/ upgrade of plant. You will be responsible for ordering of parts required and managing all documentation on our preventative maintenance system.
Working with the Site Front Line Managers you will deliver high levels of quality and efficiency.
Who are we looking for?
You will be pro-active and driven. You will have an Electrical nationally recognised certification. (NVQ level 3 or above).
You will be competent at fault finding on electrical systems and have mechanical experience of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and gear boxes.
Food safety and hygiene knowledge would be preferred but training can be provided.
The ability to cover the shift independently whilst managing workloads is essential in order to fulfil this role.
