We are looking for an Engineering Shift Manager for one of the UK's leading food businesses, and the role comes with an attractive salary, shift allowance & benefits.
The Engineering Shift Manager will work a 5-shift continental pattern that provides regular opportunities for conducting Engineering Projects, continuous improvement activities and Training and Development. You will lead and manage the day-to-day running of the shift and support all activities on site by assessing all aspects of maintenance procedures whilst ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

- Manage a shift of engineers and apprentices, including recording all necessary administrative requirements on TMS
- Be responsible for on-shift Engineering performance of the production line and wider factory Engineering activities with due consideration for safe plant operations
- Ensure equipment is set up and ready for shift start, perform at required output, and ensure lines are shut down correctly
- Allocate and record stock used in support of machinery
To apply for this Engineering Shift Manager role, you will need an HNC Certification or Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in engineering leadership
- NEBOSH or IEE
- Instrumentation and process control experience
- PLC experience
