Engineering Supervisor is a leadership role reporting to Operations. Your new role
Fantastic opportunity to be the conduit between the maintenance team and all departments in streamlining, prioritising and planning all maintenance tasks. You'll be impressed by the CAPEX portfolio coming up, and you'll enjoy involvement in that. You will also be able to deliver improvements in how money is spent in the department to be more commercial and will manage the spares spend and inventory to ensure the department is well-equipped for all breakdowns at all times as the owners want to be prepared.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a hands-on approach and experience in production maintenance and the ability to communicate with other department managers to understand what they need, plan delivery and execute this delivery in a timely fashion, i.e. prioritise critical production tasks in order and communicate timescales. Equally, the ability to delegate to the team and check work is completed on time and some experience managing spending, pricing and spares. This is a department leader role reporting to Operations, so holds full maintenance responsibility.
