Engineering Surveyor

I have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mechanically biased with experience of working with pressure systems to become an Engineering Surveyor. The successful Engineering Surveyor will join my client’s growing business, travelling to customer sites around High Wycombe and London areas, you will carry out inspections and surveys on pressure systems, produce reports and offer technical advice.

This is a field role so flexibility around travel, overnight stays and occasional night work is required. My client already employs ex-military engineers within the company and encourages interested ex-military engineers with mechanical bias to make an early application.

Engineering Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Attend customer sites, carry out inspections and surveys of pressure systems.
• Conduct statutory examinations in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Produce written reports on findings including any advice given to clients, report any mandatory or recommended requirements.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations on ways to improve safety pressure systems.

Engineering Surveyor Applicant Requirements:

• Hold an NVQ level 3 - Mechanical bias.
• Ideally hold EngTech or IEng or be willing to obtain.
• The successful candidate must have a strong mechanical engineering background and knowledge of pressure systems and their safety regulations.
• Strong organisational skills.
• IT Literate.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong customer facing skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Flexible with regards to travel including working independently and occasional overnights.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Hold security clearance.
