Engineering Team Leader

This is a newly created role due to company growth and has been created to strengthen the Engineering Team within this specialist manufacturing site.  Growing year on year, the business has maintained a family feel and people focused culture.  They care about their employees, the environment they work in, and their future development.  They are looking for a multi-skilled engineer with supervisory experience gained from a factory environment to undertake the following tasks. 
-  Plan and execute preventative maintenance works. 
-  Act fast to repair work.
-  Undertake projects for machine and site improvements and effectiveness. 
-  Focus on promoting a safe environment.
-  Supervise the team, plan, and manage workloads. 
We are looking for candidates with knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering with qualifications or apprentice trained.  You will have worked in a factory environment with strong communication and problem solving skills. 
 
This is a Monday to Friday role with some flexibility on start times in busy periods.  There is a completive salary on offer at £51,000 with overtime available and excellent benefits.
