SalaryThink FE are working with a well established and growing college in the North East to find a talented and committed Maths lecturer to deliver GCSE English to re-sit students within the college.
Salary: £28,419 - £41,874 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver GCSE English lessons to students who are attending the college and studying various courses. The students will be re-sitting English, so the role needs a teacher who has patience and can make lessons fun for those who didn t enjoy the subject too much the first time.
- You will also be happy to teach GCSE and functional skills English.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, resources, and assessments.
- Encourage student engagement and academic achievement.
- Contribute to staff development and departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- Need to have a Teaching Qualification
- A minimum of A Level/ Level 3 English, ideally qualified to degree level
- You will also need level 2 maths
- Someone passionate about the subject and keeps up to date with subject knowledge
