A high-performing, highly inclusive and very successful Secondary School in Ealing, West London are looking to appoint an English Intervention Tutor for a 1 year placement through to July 2024.
EnglishIntervention Tutor - Job Details:

• English Intervention Tutor role in an 'Outstanding' Ealing Secondary
• Supporting EAL, SEND and low-attainment students within English
• Delivering 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
• Immediate start date through until July 2023
• Opportunity to start your teacher training from September 2023 through the SCITT programme
• £20,000 - £21,000 (pro rata to term time only, paid on a weekly PAYE basis)
• Suitable for an aspiring English Teacher looking for school-based experience

This English Intervention Tutor role is an excellent opportunity for a English Graduate to work alongside a dedicated English department and to support students who have been identified as needing additional support. You will use your excellent subject knowledge as a English Graduate to support these students in 1:1 and small group Science Intervention sessions. The school would like to receive applications from First-Class or 2:1 English Graduates to take English Tuition sessions throughout the school day. You will be working across the complete ability range within this English Tutor role, some students will be working at the lower end of GCSE level whilst some students will be aiming for A* grades.
