English Graduate TA - February Start, full-time temporary
One of our client schools is currently looking for an English Graduate Teaching Assistant to start in February on a full-time temporary basis. The school is based in South Manchester with an easy commuting journey to anybody living in the city centre or surrounding areas of South Manchester via public transport or personal vehicle. The school is an all-girls Ofsted 'Outstanding' school that prides itself on its high level of education for all students.
The role would involve assisting the class teacher within English and Drama lessons by working with smaller groups of students with their work. The students in question would require help with the understanding and completion of lesson tasks and in some cases will have SEN requirements such ADHD. Being able to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with these students is essential and will form a large part of the role itself as you begin to slowly build up their confidence within the subject area.
- Pay: £77 - £85 per day depending on experience.
- Full-time Temporary (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm).
- February to July contract with the possibility of this being extended into the following school year.
The ideal candidate will be confident within a classroom setting and will have strong literacy and numeracy skills. The school are seeking candidates who are English graduates (essential) and have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant before (desirable). This role would suit anybody looking to gain experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an excellent school just south of the city centre.
