English Teacher

TeacherActive are currently supporting one of our partner schools in seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time English Teacher to join their vibrant team for two days per week (Thursday/ Friday) for the summer term.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced English teacher to inspire and educate students. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, fostering a love for literature, language, and communication skills. This is a part-time position with a focus on providing high-quality education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging English lessons.

  
  

• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's educational philosophy.

  
  

• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback.

  
  

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject.

  
  

• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the English department and the school community.

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

    
    

  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.

    
    

  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.

    
    

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    
    

  • Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

    
    

  • Ability to engage and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
