Therapeutic SEND specialist school, Barnet We are looking for an
English Teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and excited about the opportunity to provide essential education to their students with significant barriers to learning. This Therapeutic SEND school is based in NW London, Barnet. The school caters for students, 11-18, who find mainstream education challenging, due to their additional needs. Understanding their needs must be met before any academic development can happen.

What we are looking for Therapeutic teaching approach English Teacher with QTS/QTLS, Able to teach KS2, 3 and 4 English including GCSE and A-Level English Experience of teaching with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach Experience with SEN, MLD, ASC, SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students Experience of working with disengaged teenagers is essential.
