We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our esteemed school community in Perry Beeches, Birmingham. The position is available for an immediate start, focusing on teaching English to secondary school students.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Secondary English Education:** Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English, inspiring students and fostering a love for literature and language among secondary school students.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum, ensuring alignment with the needs and interests of our diverse student body.
3. **Literary Analysis:** Conduct in-depth literary analysis and discussions, encouraging students to explore and appreciate various genres.
4. **Assessment and Progress Monitoring:** Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in English or a related field.- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.- Strong knowledge of literature and language principles.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.
