SalaryAcademic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated English Teacher. This is a 2 day per week placement, Thursday and Friday, to cover short-term absences with an immediate start date for the right applicant. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher looking to work in an inclusive, forward-thinking learning environment and be part of a community that cares about its students and staff.
A well-qualified and innovative Teacher of English is required to join a successful and enthusiastic department. The candidate should be well motivated and energetic with a willingness to contribute to the development of the subject, the quality of teaching and the pastoral life within the setting. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4.
Requirements:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Evidence of an exemplary track record
- A passion for success and quality teaching
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
