Address One of the South West's leading SEN Multi Academy Trusts is recruiting an engaging and experienced English Teacher for their specialist alternative provision in South Devon. The school specialisies in providing individualised learning for secondary pupils that have previous struggles to learn in a mainstream education environment. They provide a stable, supportive and nurturing environment for these pupils and work to the highest levels of safeguarding. This long-term position requires a dynamic and nurturing SEN English Teacher who has worked with pupils that have experience trauma previously and has strong experience of creating inspiring and captivating lessons. It is essential that you have experience of teaching English at GCSE level to secondary pupils, have QTS and that you have previously worked with SEMH pupils. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons with the support of specialist Teaching Assistant to classes of no more that 10 pupils. This is a long-term placement that will start with immediate effect for at least 2 terms. Pay is £130 per day Hours are based on 37.5 - Monday to Fri, term time. .
