We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic English Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Kent, part of a prestigious and respectful learning trust. This role offers a unique rotating timetable, providing a perfect work-life balance.
This role would suit either a qualified Teacher, or Cover Supervisor with good behaviour management, with experience in English as a subject specialism. With 1-2 days per week rotating, you'll be dedicated in delivering high-engagement lessons that are effective in building student knowledge as well as providing students with wider learning techniques that translate into their lives.
The ideal English Teacher will:
- Have a specialism in English or strong experience in the subject
- Be committed to student success and achievement
- Inspire and engage students in the learning process
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents
English Teacher responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Contribute to the school's positive and respectful learning environment
