Rate: £180 - £240 per day depending on experience.
Start: ASAP, full time

Secondary School based in Southwark, South West London are looking for a strong, experienced teacher of English who can deliver lessons to KS3,4,5. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well-organised English department. Their most OFSTED report was 'Good'.
This position is to start ASAP and last until the end of the academic year on a temporary basis. The school is happy to consider permanent placement for the right candidate.
Your new role
Starting ASAP, you will be responsible for teaching English across all key stages and overlooking pupils' progression. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and contribute other school functions.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience of teaching English within Secondary School. You must be available to start right away and ideally be able to work through to July 2024, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department. Must have a hands-on, proactive attitude.
