Enterprise Architect

Cameron Connect Ltd are delighted to be partnering a leading financial services client to appoint an experienced Enterprise Architect. Joining an experienced technology team your role will be focused on driving improvements for customers who are vulnerable or facing challenging financial circumstances.

Role

The purpose of the role is to understand the technology gaps and opportunities within the business context, ascertain ways to address them, gain necessary support to drive the most appropriate solution, produce architectural artefacts such as current/end state designs and roadmaps to support their delivery.

You will focus on the architectural outputs to transform the operational journeys and drive great customer outcomes. Designing innovative and dependable solutions to opportunities and problems. Improving engineers’ experience to enable change readiness delivering reusable features and capabilities.

You will work collaboratively with other technology teams to find ways to leverage existing / emerging capabilities to reduce the TCO and bring in best practices to support the function’s maturity.

Skills

The Technology footprint ranges from Mainframe on Servers utilising batch jobs to Microservices on the Cloud with Java full stack utilising APIs, Microsoft Powertools, Informatica and Event streaming/consumption, with a view of evergreening and driving technological currency and innovation.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:

• Strong architecture / solutions architectural experience and an energy to drive change and achieve outcomes
• Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to understand business context and technology solutions
• Experience of designing and communicating architectures, designs and proposals
• An understanding of industry architecture frameworks and patterns
• A focus on innovative solutions and new capabilities
