About the Role Joining an exciting & growing team, with the Sector’s leading expert in Enterprise Architecture, the Enterprise Architect (EA) within IDG (Warwick’s Information Digital Group) will play a pivotal role in defining, maintaining, and evolving the Enterprise Architecture of the institution. The EA Team will ensure alignment between the university's business strategy and its IT capabilities. The role will collaborate across all levels of the university to provide architectural solutions and guidance, driving technological transformation and efficiency.  Working closely with stakeholders, this role defines architectural standards and guides the evolution of the organisation's technology landscape. They have a proactive rather than reactive approach to problem solving, acting as trend spotters to help IDG stay at the forefront of the industry. They collaborate with agile development teams to help develop the architectural roadmap and support technical design solutioning. Enterprise Architecture has a remit across all University service areas at all layers of architecture (people, process, systems, data, infrastructure). Balances and articulates the risk posed to the structure of the University at an enterprise level. Ensures the efficient and timely execution of the Architecture Domain responsibilities. Enforces architecture governance structures and compliance activities to maintain regulatory compliance and enterprise standards. Contributes to the review, alignment, and challenge of the cross-institutional request funnel for all solutions and assesses and approves their strategic and architectural fit to the enterprise, including influencing the prioritisation of initiatives. As an expert in your field, you’ll bring the knowledge and confidence to lead recommendations upwards to the SLT and the University Exec.
