Form of workSeeking experienced start-up advisors, self-employment mentors, and business owners to join our programme delivery team.
We deliver a series of online, live and interactive, one-week courses, and need to expand the team in order to service a greater volume of customers. If you have a passion for start-up, coaching and mentoring and want to support aspiring entrepreneurs, we want to hear from you.
You must currently/have previously run your own business or be self-employed. You must have a good knowledge of the start-up process.
The programme includes a formal level 1 qualification and typically covers the following topics; Formalities of Business Set-up, Business Planning, Company structures, Financials, Problem Solving and Risks, Grants & Funding, Marketing & Social Media, Sales & Promotion
Duties;
Provide group tutoring sessions to adults across a range of key start-up considerations.
Give adults the tools to become self-employed of start their own business.
Support adults in achieving the level 1 qualification.
Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback.
Skills;
Essential that you have knowledge of business start-up and/or general business running experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent IT skills.
Patience and the ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to motivate and inspire adults to reach their full potential.
Strong organisational skills to plan sessions and track student progress.
Ability to establish a positive rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
Ideally you are a business owner or a self-employed trainer, coach, mentor or teacher. Qualifications in coaching/training/teaching would be desirable.
