Enviromental Manager

Our client is a leading, global Tier 1 contractor established across the construction sector for over 100 years.
Intersect has partnered with this business in their search for an experienced environmental manager to help close out a Flagship project for the business.
Based out of Greys, Essex the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and development of the environmental strategy for the project close out.
Experience should include

• Water quality management and control/discharge consents and Environment Agency relationships
• General waste management including waste exemptions
• Noise, dust, and air quality mitigation
• Experience with contaminated land
• Management of ecology and protection measures
• Environmental reporting
• Overseeing and potentially delivering training
• Good level of construction experience (5 years) under Major projects.
• Someone who understands DCO projects under highway schemes (Desirable)
• Line management of Environmental Advisors

Office based 3 days a week.
Standard Hours - 8:30 am - 5 pm (Can be flexible on some days as project operates from 7 am -6 pm)
