Do you have the passion to make a difference...
...then why not become part of our team?
Our Purpose
Make your first career steps in North East Lincolnshire, where you will contribute to our work on climate change and the green agenda.
We are seeking a newly qualified graduate to join our Environmental Services, to work on both policy and operational projects. This is the perfect time to play your part and work in helping us to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030, with a focus too on improving the natural environment and biodiversity of our area.
Your Role
You will work closely with a small specialist team, focusing on biodiversity, environmental strategy and field monitoring and surveying. There will also be an opportunity to work with the wider Environmental Services, gaining a broader perspective of the work that contributes to delivering on our green agenda.
We can offer flexible working arrangements, however there will be a need to be based at the Doughty Road Depot in Grimsby for a portion of your time.
About You
We are seeking a graduate with excellent skills in both desktop research and fieldwork, who can understand the national picture and work up actions to achieve change locally. The successful applicant will be able to use their skills to solve a variety of technical problems and challenge whilst also being able to present complex information in a way that can be understood easily.
We offer plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and nurture your talents, and the chance to be part of a welcoming team.
Think you can make a difference? We want to hear from you.
Your Application
All applicants are advised to carefully read the information provided in the Role Profile and Person Specification.
