The priority and importance of environmental management and compliance continues to grow and forms an important part of our day to day operational activities as well as our long term strategic responsibilities.
We’re looking for an experienced Environmental Compliance Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that Wolverhampton Homes meets all of our existing and future environmental regulatory and legislative responsibilities. You will be skilled in process and procedural development and in ensuring they are embedded into business operations.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and will manage the control of environmental risks, ensuring that all significant risks are managed as part of the EMS ‘Aspect & Risk Assessment’ process.
You will also possess excellent analytical skills and experience of carbon reduction (Green House Gas Protocol - Corporate Accounting & Reporting Standard methodology - Scopes 1, 2 & 3) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting requirements, in order to support the Asset Sustainability Manager in the development and delivery of the businesses Carbon Management Plan.
