This is a great opportunity to progressive engineering company, who have a strong commitment to sustainability and have recently been selected as one of the most sustainable businesses globally. You will be the technical / maintenance specialist in managing maintenance activities, engineer and CMMS to provide knowledge to Energy management and Building Service equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and control RPL's water/energy reduction and utilities monitoring initiatives. This includes the detailed study of RPL processes and infrastructure, research of low carbon technologies, detailed project evaluation, planning, budget submission, investment justification and authorisation, risk assessments, scheduling and implementation of activities required to achieve CO2 reduction targets.
- To take responsibility for activities and associated risks. To lead new equipment installations, establishing and implementing performance monitoring and preventative maintenance activities as well as delivering training for all relevant persons as required.
- Maintain compliance with climate change regulations and internal environmental reporting requirements. Support the wider environmental team.
- Manage internal & external resources to deliver mechanical and electrical installations in accordance with all relevant regulations.
- To provide out of hours maintenance support as required.
- To own the CMMS structure to ensure the energy related asset structure is up to date and maintained.
- Actively contribute to company Continuous Improvement activities including Ricoh Production Way System, Kaizen, applying 5S standards in all areas, and ensure all work is compliant with Health and Safety standards and risk assessments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Suitable Engineering Qualification and a Energy Qualification would be desirable
- Experience working within Automated Manufacturing
- Previously worked within Industrial Engineering
- Ability to work within a Team Environment
