An expanding, Plymouth based contaminated land, soil treatment and remediation company are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join the team on a variety of projects across the South West. Focussing on remediation, ground water, soil treatment, demolition and brownfield solution projects, you'll be provided with a huge range of work - allowing for continued professional development, no two days ever the same and varied team & specialist interaction.

The Environmental Ground Engineer position will require work both in office and on site. You'll be soil sampling and environmental monitoring, liaising with clients, organising plant, machinery and transport for projects, assisting with bidding and tendering, writing technical reports and complying with Health & Safety standards, among other responsibilities.

Therefore, the Environmental Ground Engineer will have:

• Experience in an environmental engineering/consultancy/advice position (ideally with experience in asbestos, ground remediation or contaminated land).
• Experience writing technical reports.
• A degree in environmental engineering, geology, engineering geology (or a similar subject).
• A full UK driving licence.
• Commutable to Plymouth and willingness to travel to site.
• A full right to work in the UK.
