Job description

One of our Norfolk Local authorities clients is currently looking for a Commercial Environmental Health / Food Safety Officer on an interim basis with a potential permanent job offer at the end of the  interim period.

You will be working with a team of 4 officers.  

 

Your duty: 

- Food Hygiene & standard inspections

- Sampling 

- Enforcement / Prosecution

- RIDDOR, accident investigations (events, festivals, seafronts, inflatables) 

- Private Water Supply - sampling, risk assessments (desirable) (training provided)

- Ship sanitation certificates (desirable) (training provided)



The Package: 

- Hybrid / Agile / Flexi working.

- Full-time 37 hours. Clients are open to part-time applicants as well.

- Interim contract length: 3 - 6 months. Rates: up to £42 per hour. (Umbrella / LTD) 

- Permanent salary: £39,186 - £43,421 per annum + essential car user allowance.

Requirements: 

Degree in Environmental Health / Higher Certificate in Food Control + Health and Safety qualifications (Diploma level minimum) 

Up-to-date competency framework 

Up-to-date CPD 

Minimum 2 years of experience

Full UK driver's license with access to vehicle
