Pay rate: £10.60 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 2 months
City: KILLINGWORTH, North Tyneside
The purpose of this role is to focus on removal of weeds, vegetation growth from around walls, fence lines and the removal of litter/fly tipping from strategic locations. This will be using a ride-on mower with attachments in cold weather conditions. To help provide clean, safe and tidy places to an agreed standard within all parts of the borough.
Key responsibilities:
Removal of weeds and vegetation growth from around walls and fence lines.
Removal of litter/fly tipping from strategic locations.
The post requires a high level of physical skill associated with walking and lifting, cleansing equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will spend most of their time outdoors.

Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Skills & Abilities:
Physically strong enough to carry out the workload which includes heavy lifting daily.
Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
Positive approach to teamwork and working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
Manual handling, training, or experience desirable.
