Our client, a leading international multi-disciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Planner to work out of their Chester offices. Working as part of their growing team the successful Environmental Planner will help their clients by providing support for their major planning submissions, strategic environmental assessments and environmental impact assessments.
Suitable candidates for this role will:
- Have a relevant MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline
- Have demonstrable experience working within a multi-disciplinary planning team
- Have project management experience
- Be a member of the RTPI
Within the role the successful Environmental Planner will:
- Managing planning applications
- Undertaking research
- Liaising with clients and planning officers
- Preparing planning appraisals
- Attending events
- Delivering presentations
