We are currently working with a leading manufacturing business who are going through a significant period of growth.

As the Environmental and Sustainability Officer, reporting to the Companies SHEQ and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for managing product testing and technical documentation to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable building standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
– Product Testing Supervision
– Technical Documentation Supervision
– Compliance with Green Building Programs
– Continuous Improvement

To be considered for the role you will need some of the following –
– Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
– Proven experience in environmental or technical management, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry.
– Strong knowledge of product testing procedures, including fire classification, acoustic testing, VOC testing, and emissions testing.
– Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards, as well as green building programs such as LEED and BREEAM.
– Knowledge of B-Corp and BES6001 would be an advantage.
– Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
