EP Officer

Our local authority client, based in East London are looking to appoint an experienced Noise Officer to undertake the Council's statutory functions in relation to Programmed and Reactive Noise including responding to service requests, other nuisance (e.g. light) ensuring compliance with codes of practice, guidance and legislation, such as Licensing Act enquiries relating to noise, section 61 Control of Pollution Act 1974 applications and reviewing planning applications with regards to noise.
This role requires an experienced officer, with at least 3+ years of working to the above remit. Your CV must demonstrate the you can step into this role with minimum training.
This contract is due to start in January and will continue until the end of March 2024. Hourly rate will be £40 per hour Umbrella.
