SalaryOur client, based in Nottingham, is currently recruiting for an Energy Performance Certificate Assessor on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start on notice. The salary is circa £30,000 dependent on experience for the role.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessment accreditation and hold a full UK driving license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting energy performance certificate assessments daily on social housing properties, referring to scheduled appointments on calendar, in and around the Nottingham area
- Ensuring all lodgements are completed correctly and efficiently
- Working on site and undertaking assessments that will last around 30-60 minutes, examining the property age, building type, number of windows and roof construction
- Taking pictures, measuring wall heights and creating floor plans of the building
- Giving practical advice to residents on how to improve energy efficiency
Experience required:
- Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor accreditation
- EPC assessments in social housing properties
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Property age, building type, roof construction
- Floor plans
- Energy efficiency
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday – Friday
- 9am-5pm
