Eppleton Primary Academy - After School Club Playworker

Post Title: After School Club Playworker andndash; Permanent
Grade: Pay Scale 3 - andpound;22,737 to andpound;23,114.04 pro rata
Hours of work: Between the hours of 3:00pm and 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3:00pm to 5:00pm Friday - 12 hrs per week
Job Location: Eppleton Academy Primary
Responsible to: Headteacher
The Governors of Eppleton Academy invite applications for the post of After School Club Playworker.
Duties will include:
making and serving snacks, organising play areas, materials and equipment;
assisting with the planning of activities to create and develop a stimulating and fun environment;
ensuring the children are supervised at all times;
modelling play with the children;
encouraging fair and caring behaviour;
encouraging independence and self-esteem;
ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to;
building effective relationships with the parents and carers;
administering basic first aid as required and tidying up the room and equipment.
Reporting and documenting any accidents or incidents that occur during sessions in line with school policies and procedures.
Attend and participate in any training and development courses as required
