The Opportunity:

At Arden University, we pride ourselves on being true innovators, disruptors and pioneers, our focus is to promote life-long learning and ensure that everyone, everywhere can access higher education. We are currently recruiting four Equality Diversity & Inclusion interns to join our Learning & Teaching team.

These four six-week student internships provide a valuable opportunity to gain experience of working in a dynamic, fast-moving and innovative university that is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

The roles will involve supporting the EDI team with crucial initiatives, such as reviewing the University curriculum for inclusivity, influencing decision making around policy and practice and supporting with awareness-raising EDI events. In a world where EDI is increasingly important, these roles will give candidates the chance to have a meaningful voice, experience a variety of different aspects of EDI in higher education, and be a part of positive change in a supportive and inclusive working environment. The days and times of work are negotiable but ideally would be spread across the week.

About You:

We're looking for Arden students who are committed to inclusion and diversity, with a solid understanding of EDI themes. You should excel in engaging with diverse perspectives, demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, professionalism, and a keen sense of confidentiality are crucial. The ability to establish effective relationships with various stakeholders and meticulous attention to detail round out the ideal skill set.

Arden’s values:

Stand out, Progressive, Accessible, Resourceful, Kindness, reflect who we are as an institution, a team and as individuals. If they also reflect you and you are excited by the chance to be the driving, creative force within a growing business, we want to hear from you.
