Equity Research Associate

Your Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on a range of companies within the UK Mid Cap landscape, attendance at company presentations, attendance of meetings with company management, researching company accounts/reports and other sources and drafting research notes
• Financial modelling and company valuation
• Undertaking various support tasks associated with the research function, updating databases, reviewing and archiving research material

Your Profile:

• Prior experience in a sell-side role such as Equity Research or Equity Sales or within an equity investment research role;
• OR ACA Qualification with 1st time passes at one of the Big 4 accounting firms is a significant advantage. Teams such as Capital Markets, Transaction Services, Valuation, Deal Advisory etc are also highly-valued;
• OR previous experience in a role that demonstrates significant commercial awareness and analytical skills such as consulting, professional services, accounting, corporate finance;
• Keen appetite for covering companies in the mid-market across the UK or Europe;
• Passion for equities, excitement to build a career within Equity Research;
• Degree level education or equivalent experience required;
• Advanced IT skills, including all standard Office applications.
