Agriculture is at the heart of BHC, and due to continuous expansion within the sector we are looking to recruit additional operatives to erect both agricultural and industrial buildings. The applicant needs to be willing to work mainly in external condition, have a good head for heights and be physically fit. You will work as part of an established squad and be given training to undertake the following duties:
- Assembly and erecting of steelwork
- Fixing various cladding systems, fibre cement, single skin and composite
- Fitting precast concrete
- Fitting out buildings with agricultural equipment, gates and barriers etc
- Fitting of safety systems
- Delivering the installation under our H&S management systems
- Site measuring, setting out and working to levels
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The following skills would be advantageous but not essential:
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience of working at heights
- Experience of steel erecting
- CSCS card
- Operator tickets including IPAF/MEP/telehandler
- Work will be UK wide, with staying away duties included
