I have a high demand for qualified ESOL tutors in the Greater Manchester area to work with young people, often within the care system, who have little or no English. The students you would be working with have usually just arrived in the country, and need ESOL tuition until they have a school placement.
- Each assignment is usually between 10 hours per week ( split over 4 or 5 days) for varying lengths of time - the pupils will have to have a reasonable level of English to be able to start a school placement.
- You can take on as many students as you wish and that your schedule will allow!
- Assignments usually have to start very quickly when a referral comes in, so wouldn't suit anyone needing to work a notice period.
- You would be expected to provide weekly reports detailing attendance, work covered, and progress.
- You must have an enhanced child workforce DBS which is subscribed to the update service- we can assist you with a new application if you do not have one.
We are committed to providing equal opportunities to all candidates as well as adhering to strict safeguarding procedures. Your application will be subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
