Essential Skills Touch Point Tutor

We are looking for someone to join our company and become part of the Essential Skills team. Acting as the initial contact person from the Essential Skills team and maintaining the role as a touch-point person and teaching and learning gateway adviser throughout the Apprentices’ learning journey. The successful candidate will take on the role as exam co-coordinator and invigilator of Essential Skills English and Maths to Apprentices throughout Northern Ireland. .

GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent)

Good knowledge and level of confidence in using ICT and the ability to utilise ICT both within assessment, learning and administrative processes

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Have the ability to communicate effectively with learners with a range of abilities and motivation

Full clean driving licence as travel throughout NI is a substantial part of this role

GCSE ICT Grade C or above desirable, however sound level of confidence in using ICT is essential

Experience of successful teaching/training would be advantageous
