Estate Electrician
Location: The Leconfield Estates, Petworth, West Sussex
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £35,000+ Permanent and works vehicle provided
Become an integral part of a team responsible for maintaining the electrical infrastructure of our 14,000-acre rural estate, encompassing historic buildings, charming cottages, working farms, and a commercial property portfolio. You will ensure everything runs smoothly and safely at Leconfield Estates, a cornerstone of Petworth’s and surrounding villages' heritage.
What will you need?
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
- Proficiency in domestic and commercial installations, repairs, and testing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on varied projects across the estate
- Excellent problem-solving and a “can-do” attitude
- Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work
What will you be doing?
- Testing programme and maintaining records register
- Rewire of properties undergoing full refurbishments
- Routine maintenance, repairs and emergencies
- Maintenance and monitoring of alarm systems across the estate
- Respond to alarm activations
- Meter readings
- PAT Testing
