We understand hospitality can involve anti-social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £36,000 full-time annual salary can earn up to £13.50 per hour!
This is working Sunday - Thursday from 7pm - 5am, Saturday and Sunday from 5am - 7pm and Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm - 5am
We also recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service.
On top of your salary you canearn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (points based criteria for eligibility).

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding to ensure the grounds are well maintained and visually appealing.
- Garden Care: Maintain shrubs, hedges and trees, ensuring they are healthy and vibrant and free from pests or diseases.
- Landscaping: Assist in the improvement and implementation of landscaping projects including planting new trees, shrubs & hedges as well as maintaining irrigation systems.
- Outdoor Areas: Keep outdoor areas such as paths, seating areas and recreational spaces clean and tidy and safe for our guests to enjoy.
- Construction: Assist in large construction projects in all areas of the business.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, clean and maintain machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
- Firewood: Production of Firewood for the open fires within the Hotel and wider Estate.
- Pest Control: Monitor and address pest issues.
- Seasonal Decorations: Assist in the installations and removal of seasonal decorations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as Maintenance, Greenkeeping, Gardeners and Holiday Park to ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines including the proper use of Personal protective equipment and safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests.
About You
- Previous experience in landscape and Estate maintainance is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Mowing and Landscape equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Experience in all types of Forestry practises.
- Spraying ability to control weed growth in the formal hardscape areas.
- Trained in the uses of 360 digger, Dumper and large farm tractors.
