JOB ROLE: Estate Operative

SALARY: £24k - £29k dependant on experience. As well as a performance related Christmas bonus of up to 3% of your annual salary.

LOCATION: Horlicks Quarter, Memorial Avenue, Slough, SL1 3GY

HOURS PER WEEK: 37.5

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Horlicks Quarter is the best residential development in Slough and a flagship site for Berkeley Homes. Horlicks Quarter, won the Residential Development of the Year at The Thames Valley Property Awards in 2023. This is a new development with works ongoing until at least 2030. In 2024 we will complete phase 1 of the development with an onsite coffee shop and a nursey opening as well as an additional 245 new homes taking the development to over 500 homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

· As the maintenance operative you are responsible for maintaining and enhancing all external and internal aspects of the development.The right candidate will have a passion for landscaping and an eye for detail. Someone who can see the amazing grounds we already have and have a vision of how we can improve on what the developers have provided to us. As well as maintaining the gardens, you will be responsible for keeping the hard landscaping and building’s bin stores clean and tidy. Looking after the external aspects of the buildings as well as carrying out minor repairs within the buildings and assisting with compliance testing. Customer service is also a keep aspect to this role, as we’re working in our resident’s home environment, and everything we do is to make their homes and lives better. This is a new position in a growing development, and this is an opportunity to shape and develop your role within the company. This is an opportunity to lead the team as the site and team grows and the responsibilities increase.

We’re a small, but growing team, you will report directly to the development manager, who is very hands on, and you will work alongside a team of 4 concierge and 3 cleaners.
