To start ASAP, subject to notice required by current employerThe Governing Body are seeking to appoint an effective school Estates Officer.
The successful applicant will : -
• Ensure the safety and security of the site – open in the morning and lock up the building in the evening.
• Maintain the site to a high standard through regular checks and tasks, including the testing of alarm systems
• Have a clear vision so be able to act on initiative
• Take the key role in Health and Safety
• Be an enthusiastic, calm and caring person who has high expectations and is prepared to work hard and flexibly to ensure the best for the school
• Show a commitment to working as part of a team, sharing expertise and learning from others
• Be adaptable, resourceful and innovative with a good sense of humour
• Show the ability to complete minor repairs and DIY tasks safely and competently
• Be committed to working in a multi cultural primary school
• Be able to work some evenings through the year
