Job Title: Estimator - Façade Systems

Industry Sector: Estimator, Estimating, Rainscreen, Rainscreen Cladding, SFS, Terracotta, Architectural Drawings, Facades, Roofing Systems, Building Envelope, Installers and Contractors

Location: Birmingham Office

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000

Benefits: Standard pension, 4x death in service, 21 days annual leave

The role of the Estimator - Façade Systems will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with high end fabricated rainscreen cladding systems
• Validating contract costs and estimating team workloads
• Receiving tender enquiries and producing general take-offs to create quotations and estimates using an in-house software package
• Establishing relationships with sub-contractors
• Preparation and issuing of formal quotations to customers
• Proactively following up on quotations to convert the sales
• Liaising with Technical, Detailing & Customer Services Teams
• Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £30,000 up to circa £1,000,000

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Façade Systems with:

• Must have some estimating experience dealing with rainscreen cladding systems or related products
• High levels of attention to detail to produce accurate quotations
• Familiar with Estimating software & ideally CRM systems
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Robust, positive outlook and team player
