Salary: 25-28k

Our client, a market leader within their manufacturing sector is looking to recruit a Quotations Officer at their Head Office based in Accrington.

The main purpose of this role is to effectively manage customer enquiries and quotation requests and be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all customers and sales staff. The order is broken down and priced for each individual component that makes up a product, with the prices clearly listed for the customer. Once you have checked through the quote, you’ll send it to the customer via email.

As a Quotations Officer, you will be responsible for providing accurate quotations, be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that orders are qualified and the technical information is shared and recorded.

You will be a person who puts the customer's needs first, have an understanding of the sales process and company products and be able to demonstrate that you have strong customer service skills. The customer may wish to amend their order, so you will re-quote and chase it up with them.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Dealing with enquiries and general customer liaison

• Preparation of customer quotations and orders ensuring the completed quotation has all the correct and required information before sending to the customer

• The order will be broken down and priced for each component that makes up a product with the prices clearly listed for the customer

• Ensure all options available for the order are explored, giving as much technical information or specification to the customer

• Provide product information to customers and the requisition of supplier quotes

The ideal candidate:

• High level of customer service skills

• Previous experience of producing quotes and sales orders from any sector

• Have a strong attention to detail

• Have superb communication skills and be able to work under pressure with an outstanding telephone manner

• Your prior experience will demonstrate your ability to build strong internal and external relationships and with a fast paced job role
