Estimator/vehicle Inspector

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off.PAYE Pay Rate: £15 p/hUmbrella Pay Rate: £16.88 p/hIgloo has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Estimator in the Chipping Warden area. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work within one of the leading automotive companies within the UK.The Role:You will be working on but not limited to: * Ensure that all vehicles are parked appropriately in their stock and holding areas * Ensure no damage has occurred to the vehicles * Vehicles will range from small cars to vans including high value, prestige models * Make sure the vehicle stock areas are managed and kept tidy * Inspect all vehicles that arrive to site * When work is required on the vehicle, ensure to apply the correct repair method to generate accurate costing for client estimate * Manage vehicle stock to ensure that all vehicles onsite are accounted for and the system reflects the vehicle stats at all times * Inspecting for any bodywork damage on the vehicle and checking for any loose items such as handbook packs, spare wheels, tyre condition, SD cards are present * Liaising with Technical Services administrator to highlight any parts prices required to complete vehicle estimate * Take remarketing images of completed vehicles in the photobooth and turntable to allow the client to list the vehicle for sale * To comply with Health & Safety processes * Ad Hoc duties as and when requiredWhat kind of person we are looking for? * Relevant experience within a workshop environment is desirable * Good knowledge of vehicles and their specifications is essential * Full UK driving licence * Have an understanding of basic Health & Safety requirements * Basic IT skills, including the ability to use a tablet and MS programmes is desirable * Audatex qualified desirable * Have the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines * Excellent problem-solving skills * Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to a high standard as well as being a team player * Flexibility in working hours to cover shifts during holiday periods
