Data Warehouse ETL and Cubes Developer

We are looking for a Microsoft BI developer with design, development and support experience. The applicant must have significant experience in working in a business-facing support and development function.
This is a permanent position, based at head office in Watford, Hertfordshire, reporting to the business intelligence manager. Two days homeworking available after you have settled in.
Job responsibilities:
providing support for current solutions, processes and business users
troubleshooting, performance-tuning and regularly maintaining the data warehouse and processes
implementing incremental changes to existing processes, to achieve stability and improved performance
carrying out detailed design and development of ETL using SSIS, Tabular and OLAP cubes using SSAS
delivering ETL/cube development work required (technical specifications, coding and unit-testing)
reporting progress of own ETL/cube development work against agreed plans, in line with agreed milestones
documenting development, testing and deployment tasks
providing post-live support for all ETL/cube development work
Essential experience/skills:
bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, business, management information systems or related fields
extensive experience in Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft SSAS, MDS, DQS, DevOps for Version Control, Deployment, PowerShell and various connectivity protocols for source systems
database skills in SQL Server 2017/19: T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, indexes, constraints, MDX and DAX
experience in SSRS, MS Power BI reports and dashboard-developing
understanding data-warehousing concepts and dimensional data-modelling
experience in design architecture for data warehouse/cubes for performance, capacity and stability
experience in building data-marts and data warehouses
experience in high-volume database performance-tuning techniques
Desired experience/skills:
cloud computing in AWS/Azure
experience in IBM Cognos
knowledge of/experience in other ETL tools, SAP BODS and web services
(e.g. API, REST, SOAP and .Net)
understanding SFTP/FTPs, security implications, what information is needed
to set up a connection, common faults (e.g. firewall ports, DNS names, etc).
Salary: GBP55,000/GBP60,000 - based on experience
