What You'll Do
You will acquire underpinning knowledge and understanding of software development via a blended online learning and on-campus delivery mode with core IT competencies being developed through an integrated work based learning curriculum. The on-campus delivery will allow you to hone your programming and software engineering skills with support from experienced academics and professionals.
We offer an environment of support and personal investment where you’re given the opportunity to develop your career alongside your personal and technical skills. Our software engineers work on enhancements and upgrades to our existing software and develop new applications as part of an Agile team. You will likely review code and test applications and you’ll be part of the team, making a contribution to our business while applying the knowledge that you’re learning in the classroom.
Who We're Looking For
Entry requirements
We require a minimum of BBBB (or equivalent), including Maths or Computer Science or Physics, at Scottish Higher level (or equivalent) and National 5 Grade B Maths and English (or equivalent). If there are extenuating circumstances and you do not meet these academic requirements you will have the opportunity to highlight this within your application.
Key skills
You’ll need strong collaboration skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and a drive to learn. You should also have a passion for a career within technology.

Training
Our degree will be delivered by a blend of virtual and in-person lectures alongside our award-winning internal training. Coupled with the on-the-job learning, this will lead to your obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Software Development.
