Working as part of a small team to provide EUC Refresh Support to a project within a Dublin Hospital at 2 locations. This role will require that Windows desktops and laptops are deployed to end users in line with clearly defined build instructions and sensitive to operational demands within the environment. You will be a customer advocate who is able to freely translate technical terms to a non-technical audience, while displaying exceptional attention to detail. This is a site-based role only, 5 days per week with the availability for overtime as and when required.
Main Duties and responsibilities
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- EUC desktop and laptop hardware deployment Support, management and maintenance of Desktops and Laptops in a busy healthcare environment.
- Liase with remote EUC SMEs when required to drive end user issues to resolution.
- Willingness to travel between 2x Dublin based locations using own transport.
- Regular, accurate updating of asset management using CMDB-style processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of deployment processes.
- Address end user issues at deskside brought on by desktop refresh.
Experience (essential)
- Previous experience of deskside support in a customer facing capacity.
- Knowledge and experience of Windows Operating Systems
- SCCM for Operating System and application deployment/imaging purposes
- Experience on EUC tools, remote support tools, Microsoft Office, and Outlook with strong emphasis on comfort with Excel.
- Awareness & understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy.
- Strong Data Management skills to support day to day asset management and deployment tracking.
Experience (desirable)
- Awareness of ITIL methodology (Change, Problem, Service Request) and related activities.
- Experience with Service Management.
- Certification In Microsoft Technologies.
