Salary - £44,199 - £56,113

E.ON Drive is the E-mobility business of E.ON and has a presence across Europe as one of the biggest e-mobility suppliers. We install both residential and workplace charging across the UK and work with a range of partners to deliver solutions into their businesses.
In this role you will be responsible for the management and delivery of small to large scale Electric Vehicle Charging installations carried out by internal staff throughout the UK.
Responsibilities
- The efficient & effective delivery of a work programme carried out by internal staff and subcontractors.
- UK wide travel with a base location aligned to your local area.
- Management of a portfolio of projects delivering the full range of electrical vehicle charging solutions to time, cost and quality for E.ON Drive and external commercial customers. The projects will include destination chargers, vehicle to grid chargers and ultra-fast charging stations.
- Managing the delivery of the programme of works in a safe working environment by ensuring that safety issues are recognised, addressed, and avoided including developing new approaches to safety to deliver the vision of zero accidents. Responsibility to take ownership of all aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental issues related to work and the impact on ourselves and others.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the EV solutions delivery activity and maintain a continuous focus on cost reduction.
- Embrace new technologies and innovative solutions.
- Ensuring that all work and safety initiatives can comply with legislation e.g. CDM, Electricity at Work Act, HASAWA, NRSWA and other legislation and raising the awareness of internal staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and meet the customer service and guarantees of service requirements.
- Deliver the sales targets and feed into sales plan development.
- Deliver key financial targets, including EBIT and GM.
- Ensure that all business growth & development KPI's are delivered.
- Act as escalation point for complaints from key customers ensuring that they are dealt with correctly and in line with the company policy on complaint handling.
- Developing and support working relationship with a wide range of organisations including suppliers, consultants and utility companies.
- Support an environment that promotes rapid and continuous improvement and the development of high performing teams.
What we need from you
- A relevant engineering or business qualification, e.g. ONC, HNC in electrical engineering.
- Will have a strong knowledge and experience of the installation and connection of electric vehicle charging solutions
- Knowledge and experience of connections to electrical distribution networks and private networks is desirable for this role.
- An understanding of the key issues & challenges relating to delivering highway electrical assets and new connections.
- Operated in a commercial environment, with a track record of developing key customer relationships and delivering electrical distribution network projects with good negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of delivering targets in a competitive environment
- The ability to make decisions and meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to self-motivate as an individual and at team level with a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
- Oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, colleagues and customers.
It would be great if you have
- In-depth financial and commercial awareness with the ability to communicate these to others to ensure that commercial implications of actions are recognised and understood.
- Knowledge and experience of managing the engagement of contractors including assessing competence to deliver the services and activities associated with electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Ensuring appropriate productivity measurement and performance standards, robust controls and checks, standard operating procedures, team resource planning and forecasting are embedded.
