In the UK Ultra Challenge Series, over 200,000 adventurers have taken on an Ultra Challenge so far and the 16 unique events in 2025 make up the UK’s biggest & best series of treks and trail runs – which have also raised over £50 million for charities.  

The Role:

To assist in helping Action Challenge deliver the 11^th Isle Of Wight Ultra Challenge - https://www.ultrachallenge.com/isle-of-wight-challenge/.  Great challenges need great settings, and few are better than the Island’s stunning coastal path. Up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight on the 4^th and 5^th May 2024 – all out to push themselves further and help raise over £250,000 for charity. 

We are looking for new team members who are physically fit and motivated to join our team, helping to set up and breakdown rest stops, support all our participants, helping them achieve their challenge and raise valuable funds for charity. 

Your duties could include:

• Loading and unloading trucks (On build/ breakdown days)
• Setting up and working on rest stops
• Supporting participants, customer service, catering and light cleaning duties.
• General event duties which can involve some heavy lifting but not a requirement. 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• We are looking for brand new candidates that are new to Events as well as experienced Events workers.
• You need to be prepared to work unsociable hours and weekends as it's a 24-hour industry.
• A can-do attitude towards work, punctuality and reliability are all vital to us.

What We Offer:

The pay starts from £12p/h for inexperienced crew and can go up to £14+ an hour for top experienced supervisors.  You can work on a self-employed basis if you are set up this way or we can set you up as a employee and pay you via our PAYE.
