THE ROLE
We’re looking to appoint an Event Electrical Technician to strengthen our busy electrical and events teams. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-performance wiring harnesses and electrical components, our Electrical Technicians develop skills across a range of competition vehicles with the potential for international travel as part of a winning team.
The role responsibilities include:
- Provide electrical support on global events with fault diagnosis, repairs and replacement of wiring harnesses and electrical components.
- Carrying out extensive pre-event checks to our high-performance competition vehicles.
- Maintaining our event spares package.
- Creating post event reports to provide feedback to our engineering team.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of automotive electrical systems.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.
The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, and experience in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage but not essential.
